Experience
Before joining Caldwell, Simon founded Stonehaven in 2008, establishing it as a premier executive search firm with a strong focus on financial services and later expanding into technology and board governance. Under his leadership, Stonehaven built a robust presence in North America, developed a dedicated Board Programme to mentor first-time directors, and launched a board advisory capability to complement executive search services.
Prior to Stonehaven, Simon was global managing partner at Heidrick & Struggles, where he played a pivotal role in doubling the revenues of the global FIG practice. His extensive experience working with corporate boards, private equity firms, and government agencies has given him a broad and nuanced perspective on leadership, governance, and talent strategy.
