About Claire
Claire is a consultant in Caldwell’s Board & CEO and Legal, Compliance & Privacy practices. She primarily works with founders, boards, and investors to build leadership teams for venture, private equity-backed, and growth-oriented public companies.
Claire specializes in the execution of chief executive officer and senior-level functional searches, including general counsel, compliance, government affairs, and other legal leadership mandates. She works across industries; however, her work tends to be concentrated within the broader energy, climate, and technology ecosystem, with a particular focus on deep tech, AI infrastructure, clean energy, and industrial platforms.
Experience
Claire joined Caldwell in 2018. She remains focused on delivering search outcomes during critical periods of inflection, supporting leadership transitions, building executive teams to support scale, and aligning talent with evolving business and commercial strategy.
Prior to Caldwell, Claire spent eight years in healthcare administration at a private specialty ophthalmology practice in San Francisco, where she managed operations, supported clinical research initiatives, and helped oversee the fellowship training program in conjunction with Sutter Health.
Education
Claire holds a BA in Communications and Media Studies from Northeastern University in Boston. She is based in Sacramento, California.
