About Monica
Monica Crafts is a consultant in Caldwell’s Atlanta office and a member of the Academic, Non-Profit, Social Enterprise and Culture Practice. With over 10 years of executive search experience and 20 years of marketing, operations and project management experience, she understands the underlying business and needs of her clients and has a passion for quality-driven methodology and research techniques. She has recruited for a wide range of organizations including multinational corporations, financial institutions, startup companies, non-profits and government entities.
Experience
Prior to joining Caldwell, Monica served as the managing director of The Carvir Group, an executive search firm with a 30-year successful track record, where she led daily business operations, client development efforts and recruitment. She was also responsible for sourcing, qualifying, coaching and placing diverse executives in senior level positions in a multitude of industries. Previously, she served as the president and founder of Avery Crafts Associates, a software development and marketing company credited with the development of numerous 3-D graphics technologies used in motion picture special effects.
Education
Monica is a graduate of Agnes Scott College.
More About Monica
As a community volunteer and advocate for young people, Monica has developed and conducted job and entrepreneur training programs for inner city youth and created workshops designed to further educate students in the sciences. She served on the board of directors of the Rockdale Career Academy and has also served as chairman of the board of directors of Prevent Child Abuse Newton for four years. She is a recipient of the Michael Axelrod Distinguished Volunteer Award for her work in child abuse prevention.
