About Samuel
Samuel Shim is a consultant in the Financial Services Practice, based in New York. He brings experience leading and executing C-suite and board-level searches across global investment management, asset management, alternative investments, wealth management and insurance companies.
Experience
Before joining Caldwell, Samuel focused on executive search in investment management and the broader financial services sector at Russell Reynolds. Earlier in his career, he was based in Singapore with Korn Ferry and Charterhouse, a boutique search firm. Prior to transitioning into executive search, Samuel held investment and relationship management roles at Citi. He began his career with service in the United States Air Force, including a tour in Iraq.
Education
Samuel holds a M.A. in organizational psychology from Columbia University and a B.S. in finance from Fordham University.
