About Rachel
Rachel Clark is a member of Caldwell’s London office and plays a key role in its UK and European HR practice operating as a deep HR search specialist. She brings more than 25 years of executive search experience and has a strong track record of helping clients appoint senior HR talent globally.
Rachel has built an extensive network across the HR community and has seen the function evolve throughout her career. Her expertise spans key disciplines including reward, talent management, talent acquisition, employee relations, organisational development and change, while also reflecting the evolution of the HR function through appointments in emerging areas such as employee experience, people analytics and employee engagement.
She works across a wide range of different sectors which have included consumer, retail, industrial, technology and financial services (amongst others), and with clients in publicly listed, private equity-backed and founder-led businesses. Her appointments range from VP/SVP-level executive roles (regional, market, BU and C o E leadership positions) right through to CHROs and CPOs across Europe and internationally. Her strong understanding of what differentiates high performing HR leaders, combined with her market insight and consultative approach, enables her to advise clients on how best to build world class people leadership teams.
Experience
Before joining Caldwell in September 2026, Rachel was an associate partner in the People & Culture practice at Savannah Group, a UK based boutique firm. Earlier in her career, she ran her own research advisory business, supporting a range of search firms on HR mandates around the world. She began her career on the corporate graduate programme at Burson, a leading corporate communications business, before moving into executive search.
Education
Rachel holds a BA (Hons) in English literature from the University of Exeter and attended Millfield School in the UK.
