About Alex
Alex Langridge is a partner in Caldwell’s London office and a member of the Financial Services Practice. He advises clients across financial services and fintech on senior executive and Board appointments. Alex works with banks, insurers, fintechs and private equity- and venture-backed businesses on leadership hiring, succession planning and organisational design, with particular expertise in placing P&L, operations, commercial, product, technology, product and digital leaders into transformational roles. He is known for helping clients access and assess diverse leadership talent and for building high-impact teams in complex, fast-evolving markets.
Alex brings more than 21 years of executive search experience, advising a broad client base including FTSE 100 and FTSE 250 companies, global financial institutions, and high-growth, investor-backed businesses. Additionally, he has built fintech practices within multiple firms.
Experience
Alex joined Caldwell from Savannah Group, where he led the financial services practice. Prior to this, he was with Per Ardua Associates, where he built and led technology, digital and fintech search vertical. Earlier in his career, Alex held roles with WorldRemit as head of executive search, and with The Up Group and Korn Ferry, where he focused on financial services and was involved in building their fintech capabilities. He began his career in research roles with Hogarth Davies Lloyd and Rice & Dore. He has placed senior roles across UK and EMEA and undertaken numerous global mandates.
Education
Alex holds a Master’s degree in modern languages from the University of Oxford, and speaks French and German.
